In this mixed media drawing course, students will use the influence of the city and the nature of Washington to create beautiful interpretive drawings and paintings. We will work from personal photo references and discuss and draw from our experiences in nature and travel. This class is open to students of all levels who wish to experiment with various media including markers, pastel, pencil, ink, charcoal, and collage. Students will explore the styles of classical and contemporary artists who focus on landscape and create new concepts of home.
