Teen Arts Council
BAM's Teen Arts Council is a group program for teens, ages 14–18, who are interested in art, creativity, museums, and community engagement. The TAC advocates for teen experiences in the museum by planning teen events and curating a teen art exhibition called 20 Under 20. The TAC also has the chance to learn about how museums work behind-the-scenes, by having conversations with staff at the museum and assisting with Youth & Family Programs throughout the year.
TAC meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30–6:00 pm, with a total time commitment of 6–10 hours per month. This is a volunteer position and counts towards high school community service hours. This program requires an application.
For more information about the program, please contact Kathryn Reyes, Youth and Family Programs Coordinator at [email protected] or call 425.519.0754.
Applications are open now, and will close 11:59PM Sunday, August 4, 2024.
