Teen Arts Council

Teen Arts Council

BAM's Teen Arts Council is a group program for teens, ages 14 – 18, who are interested in art, creativity, museums, and community engagement. The TAC advocates for teen experiences in the museum by planning teen events and curating a teen art exhibition called 20 Under 20. The TAC also has the chance to learn about how museums work behind-the-scenes, by having conversations with staff at the museum and assisting with Youth & Family Programs throughout the year.

The TAC meets twice monthly on Wednesday afternoons and also volunteers at events on occasional weekends. The total commitment is about 6 – 9 hours a month, and this volunteer position counts towards high school community service hours. This program requires an application.

Applications for the 2020 – 21 school year are currently closed.
