Using a variety of materials including collage, explore themes of identity and personal narrative. You will examine the work of contemporary and historic artists in order to develop your own artistic voice. Each week will explore different elements of art, including line and color.

 

TAS@BAM

TAS@BAM is a free drop-in arts class that offers a casual and supportive environment where participants enjoy access to BAM's current exhibitions. Each month a Resident Teaching Artist will focus on different skills and themes to teach in connection with a current BAM exhibition. Teen Art Studios are set up to have new students every workshop so don't be afraid to stop by anytime! TAS@BAM is free and open to all students ages 13 –18, and includes art materials.
