Experienced art educator Halinka Wodzicki leads Art of Discovery Training Workshops at the Bellevue Arts Museum. This workshop is designed to prepare educators, arts specialists, volunteers, and PTSA docents for the program, and provides necessary information and inspiration to conduct inquiry-based art experiences in a school setting. Any Educator is welcome to participate in the workshop to learn about the art and how to host an exhibit at their school in 2017-18.

This workshop is focused on Art of Discovery Exhibit 2: Stories in Art. Each training workshop is divided into two sessions: morning (9am – 12 pm) and afternoon (1pm – 4pm). The morning session will introduce the artwork in the specific exhibit, and provide an overview of discussion tips and activities associated with the artwork. The afternoon session will dive deeper into hands-on art projects and concrete lesson plans that fully explore specific pieces, processes, and artists.
