Best suited for families and youths ages 4 and older. Parents or guardians are requested to accompany children under 7 years old.

Join us with your family in celebrating Holi – The South Asian Festival of Colors at Bellevue Arts Museum and welcome Spring! Our community partner Hindi Time Kids will teach families about how this colorful festival is celebrated by South Asians across the world. Within this workshop we will learn through storytelling, colorful Holi art making, Holi music, and lots of fun. Together you will embark on an immersive cultural experience of this Spring festival as we celebrate longer days and learn the importance of the Holi Festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil.

About Wasfee

Wasfee Vazir, the visionary behind Hindi Time Kids, leads a certified Minority & Woman-owned Business based in Washington State, USA. Hailing from Mumbai, India, Wasfee is a proficient native speaker of Hindi and Urdu. Fueled by a passion for cultural diversity, she spearheads a mission to impart language, culture, and heritage to first- and second-generation South Asian immigrant children. With a decade of experience, she adeptly teaches Hindi and South Asian culture from preschoolers to teenagers. Wasfee's extensive involvement with esteemed institutions like KCLS, Bellevue Art Museum, Kids Quest Museum, Burke Museum as well as local museums in Seattle Area, underscores her ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds, enriching their cultural experiences.

About Hindi Time Kids

Hindi Time Kids is a dynamic language and culture enrichment initiative that brings the essence of South Asia to children, families, and communities beyond the region. By infusing enjoyment into learning, we impart Hindi communication skills and foster an appreciation for South Asian heritage. Geared towards children aged 4 to 10, as well as teenagers seeking to connect with friends, parents, and grandparents, our programs create a vibrant platform for Hindi learning and cultural celebration.
