Kids Fair at Bellevue Arts Museum

BAM Fair isn’t just for grownups! Kids and their families are invited to join us at the Museum for a fun weekend of hands-on art projects, games, and gallery activities. All are welcome, but most stations are best suited for ages 3-10. Free.

PRESS POWER with Partners in Print
Loading Dock – Friday only!
Discover the art of printmaking and share a message for your community! All participants will create a custom letterpress print – 1 to take home, and 1 to contribute to our vibrant “quilt”, an installation to be displayed during Fair and in an upcoming exhibition in BAM’s galleries!
WOODEN WONDERS with Seattle Woodturners Guild
Loading Dock – Saturday & Sunday
Seattle Woodturners put a colorful spin on tops! Watch their carving demonstrations and see how they turn a simple block of wood into amazing artistic designs and decorations. Decorate a top in your own personal style and take it home with you. Woodturning will take place Saturday & Sunday until 4pm.
STORYTIME with King County Library Systems
Court of Light – Saturday only!
Cozy up outside to listen and learn with Storytimes led by librarians from KCLS. Storytimes will happen at 11:30 pm, 12:30 pm, 2 pm, & 3 pm on Saturday, July 30. BAM’s reading nook will be available all weekend in the Imagination Station!
FAVORITE FOOD PENNANTS with Bellevue Arts Museum

Joey Veltkamp’s colorful quilts share memories of food from his life! Using felt and markers, design a pennant based on a favorite food in your family. Similar to Joey’s quilts, hang your artwork on the wall in your home.
ART FINDING BINOCULARS + SCAVENGER HUNT with Bellevue Arts Museum

These art binoculars are perfect for all of your museum visits! Using magazine clippings and two craft tubes decorate your binoculars in a way that inspires you. Using your binoculars, spot objects on your scavenger hunt sheet and discuss with a family member.
