Join us on Thursday, November 5 for the 10th annual BAM Breakfast for Community Leaders. This event is the business community’s opportunity to support the only exhibiting institution on the Eastside and discuss how the arts contribute to the economic vitality of the greater Seattle area.

Virtual networking will be available before and after the presentation through Remo.

This year's keynote address will be by Brigitta Witt, Vice President, Social Impact and Sustainability at T-Mobile.

Keynote Speaker

Brigitta Witt

Brigitta Witt serves as vice president, CSR and sustainability. In her role Brigitta is responsible for leading, evolving and communicating the company’s overall corporate responsibility strategy encompassing community engagement, philanthropic giving, environmental stewardship and governance. She oversees program development and execution, stakeholder management, employee engagement initiatives, ESG reporting and manages the T-Mobile Foundation. Brigitta joined T-Mobile in October of 2018.

Prior to joining the company, Brigitta served as Global Head of Corporate Responsibility at Hyatt Hotels Corporation where she built and led the company’s first global C.S.R function across 12 brands in 55 countries, uniting 100,000 employees behind a singular CSR vision, strategy and framework.

Brigitta brings more than a decade of experience in corporate responsibility, strategy, brand and reputation management, and communications. She has spent the greater part of her professional career developing and implementing large-scale programs and initiatives at a variety of organizations, ranging from global corporations and state governments to Silicon Valley start-ups.

In her free-time Brigitta LOVES to travel and spend time with her family (son Henry, husband Frederick and four-legged friend Charlie).

Honoree

Kemper Freeman, Jr.

As principal owner of Kemper Development Company and hands-on leader of the development team, Kemper Freeman, Jr. has earned a national reputation as a civic leader and businessman with integrity and a win-win philosophy. He has been engaged in real estate development in Bellevue since the 1960s. Mr. Freeman is also active in political affairs and issues on a local, regional, and national level. He was elected to three terms in the state legislature and also served as chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in 1994–95.

Mr. Freeman continues his family legacy of community service with his decades of support for the arts, human service and education in Bellevue and the Eastside. Philanthropic endeavors include co-chairing the $25 million capital campaign to build the Bellevue Arts Museum and millions of dollars in cash donations and in-kind support to such valued organizations as Bellevue LifeSpring (formerly Overlake Service League) that is located in Bellevue Square, Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair, Overlake Hospital and Medical Center, Youth Eastside Services, Seniors Making Art, Eastside Heritage Center, and most recently through Fashion Week raised thousands of dollars for The Moyer Foundation. A dedicated community leader, Mr. Freeman has shown his commitment to the vitality and livability of the Eastside community.
