Join us for a special workshop in celebration of Bellwether 2019. Learn from artist Cynthia Masterson about the beadwork that comes from the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. Interchangeably called gourd or peyote, this unique 3-drop style relies on math to create patterns. Using big beads, you’ll bead a small seasoning shaker and learn the history and meaning of this beading style. This workshop can accommodate up to 10 people and is appropriate for ages 8 and up. Held in conjunction with Bellwether 2019, Bellevue’s fall arts festival.
This event is at capacity.
