Join us for a special Wine & Workshop with the artist duo of Janelle Abbott and Camilla Carper (also known as Femail), and learn about their philosophy of repurposing and reimagining tossed away clothing. After a special tour of their BAM exhibition, enjoy wine and appetizers while creating a unique woven necklace of your own. Each participant will be asked to bring an article of clothing that they no longer wear or like, and we will start by sharing stories associated with these garments and their meanings. The tatters of clothing past will become the warp and weft of a newly woven story; a refashioning of self.
