With internationally recognized buildings around the world, Steven Holl is considered to be one of America's most acclaimed architects. Holl has been an integral part of the BAM community since 2001 when he designed the Museum’s iconic red building in the heart of downtown Bellevue.
Join us on Friday, June 23, 2017 for a lecture with Steven Holl on his concept of "Nine Social Condensers," exploring architecture as a community-creator and influencer. Following the lecture, Steven Holl will be available to sign monographs on his work. A selection of books on Steven Holl will also be available for purchase.

About Steven Holl
Steven Holl of Steven Holl Architects in New York City, is considered one of America's most important architects. Holl is recognized for his ability to blend space and light with great contextual sensitivity and to utilize the unique qualities of each project to create a concept-driven design. He specializes in seamlessly integrating new projects into contexts with particular cultural and historic importance. Holl is internationally recognized for his designs including the 2003 Simmons Hall at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the 2007 Bloch Building addition to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri, and the 2009 Linked Hybrid mixed-use complex in Beijing, China. He is also the architect of Bellevue Arts Museum and Seattle University's Chapel of St. Ignatius.
