This class will be focused on monoprinting, the creation of one-of-a-kind prints that cannot be reproduced. Students will learn how to use thickened dyes and the tools that are most effective for monoprints. Both small and large scale techniques will be demonstrated and discussed, and the students will get to try them. Then each will chose a particular scale and its appropriate tools to concentrate on for the remainder of the class. Participants will produce a quantity of prints which will be determined by their individual interests in subject, design, and color.
Course is recommended for any level. Space is limited to 10 students.
This workshop is at capacity. To be added to the waitlist, please email [email protected]. Please also consider signing up for the May workshop dates.
