Woodblock Printing (Mokuhanga) Workshop with Kathleen Hargrave & Yoshi Nakagawa

  • Avenue Bellevue 889 Avenue Square Northeast Bellevue, Washington, 98004 United States (map)

Art is Kathleen Hargrave's real point of hope. She lets go of striving for perfection and accepts the slow incremental improvement - getting lost in art, letting it lead, then evaluating and proceeding.

Yoshi Nakagawa finds great beauty and simplicity in everyday lives: the respect for working by hand, the enlightenment found in something deeply repetitive.

During this hands-on workshop, the two artists join efforts where participants learn the key principles and make their own prints.

  • Sunday, July 26, 10am - 2pm, at Avenue Bellevue

  • Registration fee: $125

  • Space is limited to 10 participants
