In this workshop students will sharpen their unique voices, allowing them to carve their own path through a variety of projects. We will study the diverse selection of artworks showcased in the Bellevue Arts Museum to discover the myriad expressions one can use in artmaking. We will explore foundational techniques that help every artists tackle personal projects in there studios. Come ready to experiment and tackle new projects or existing projects of your own.

TAS@BAM is a free drop-in arts class that offers a casual and supportive environment where participants enjoy access to BAM's current exhibitions. Each month a Resident Teaching Artist will focus on different skills and themes to teach in connection with a current BAM exhibition. Teen Art Studios are set up to have new students every workshop so don't be afraid to stop by anytime! TAS@BAM is free and open to all students ages 13 –18, and includes art materials.
