ARTSfair isn’t just for grownups! Kids and their families are invited to join us at the Museum for a fun weekend of hands-on art projects, games, and gallery activities. BAM and community partners host stations where the whole family can work together on projects like building a toy car, collaging a unique mask, and contributing to a hanging community art piece! All are welcome, but most stations are best-suited for ages 3-10

Using the patterns in “Butterfly Love” by Alden Mason as points of inspiration, children draw butterflies and layer patterns and designs onto clear sheets of acetate for a vibrant effect. Using watercolor pastels and permanent markers children make postcard size pictures of a flying insect or bird to send to a friend.

 Korean Paper Folding
Interlake Key Club
Come to our station to make your choice of Korean style snakes, a pinwheel flower, or a paper chain! All options are simple and easy to make, with no mess (with the exception of some sticky glue). At our station, you can also learn about how we—a high school service group—are contributing to children's ancer programs, and how you can help our cause.
