COAT CHECK & LOCKERS
A coat room with lockers is available on the first floor. Please check in with Guest Services to store oversize parcels, backpacks, purses and bags.
All galleries are wheelchair accessible. Two wheelchairs are available for public use in the coat room free of charge.
PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH
Please remember that touching harms the art. Natural oils, salts, moisture and small particles on hands leave permanent damage on the artwork. Please refrain from leaning against walls.
Photography at BAM is permitted in some areas to allow visitors to take pictures of their favorite artworks. Photography is allowed year-round in the Museum Forum (1st floor). It may also be permitted in the 2nd and 3rd floor galleries, depending on the exhibition and lender agreements the Museum holds with the organizing institution and/or artists. Galleries where photography is prohibited are clearly marked.
Photography, where permitted, is allowed for personal, non-commercial use with the following restrictions:
- No tripods
- No flash photography
- No movie or video cameras
For access to press images, please email Emilie Smith, Communications Coordinator, at email@example.com and include your press/media affiliation and job title.
Sketching is permitted in the galleries (pencil only, no ink or paint). Pencils and clipboards are available at Guest Services. Please do not use easels.
FOOD & DRINKS
Food and drinks are only allowed in the Museum Forum (1st floor), including the Community Education Gallery which provides seating.
Please refrain from using your cell phone and other electronic devices in the galleries.
Free WiFi is available in the Museum Forum (1st floor).
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Museum.
Free parking. The Museum parking garage will be locked 30 minutes after the Museum closes. To retrieve your vehicle after hours at your own expense, please contact Ibsen Towing at 425.644.2575.
