Members are the foundation of BAM. They're arts enthusiasts, committed to the Museum and healthy, vibrant communities. Our members range from teens and families with young children to retirees and from students and artists to collectors. Whether new to us this year or active since the beginning, members are vital supporters of the Museum. Get to know our members and the many ways they support BAM.
MARDETTE AND ROGER FLODIN
1975 – the year BAM was established as a museum and the year Mardette and Roger Flodin purchased their first annual membership. Mardette and Roger have renewed their membership for 36 years and counting. Initiating their membership support at the $20 entry level, they have steadily increased and upgraded their membership over the years to the current Silver Collector Circle level.
Of course, membership and donations are not the only ways they have supported BAM. As founding leaders, Mardette and Roger could be found preparing installations in the early days of the Museum. Mardette was an inaugural docent and the first President of the Docent Council. In 1985, they were honored as Volunteers of the Year.
Mardette and Roger understand and have demonstrated that members are the foundation of our BAM family. Hats off to Mardette and Roger Flodin for being stalwart friends of BAM.
