Thomas Mann, feeling an emotional urgency to understand and respond to the devastation in his hometown, has created an installation assembled entirely of materials gathered from the streets of New Orleans post-Katrina. Each of the 20 individual panels of Storm Cycle includes a removable wearable jewelry object, as the artist refers to them, within an assemblage of found objects and photos depicting the aftermath of the hurricane. This exhibition has been organized by Bellevue Arts Museum.
