The exhibition takes visitors on a journey into an interpretation of nature through thread and fabric. The exhibition features four contemporary West Coast fiber artists who draw by sewing to create a series of contoured lines.

By combining colorful dyes, layers, quilting, and embroidery to add texture, dimension and shadows, Linda Gass, Matthew Gerring, Barbara Lee Smith, and Toot Reid become map makers. They use these techniques to chart out the territories of their personal involvement with the natural world.
