Like a crow David Chatt is attracted to things that sparkle. Like a crazy person he is attracted to the intricate, some would say obsessive-compulsive nature of bead working. He can't really explain why he does it other than to say that beads and thread are the tools that feel right in his hands. The painstaking process of sewing thousands of tiny glass beads one to the next is one that cannot be hurried. There is something within him that finds this laborious process compelling beyond reason.
