2012 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Awards

Bellevue Arts Museum celebrates the innovative works of 12 emerging artists whom received the distinguished Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award in 2012. The Award was established and presented by the International Sculpture Center (ISC) in 1994 to recognize deserving sculpture students and to encourage their continued commitment to the field of sculpture. One of only two venues in the nation to receive these works, BAM offers a glimpse into the next generation of artists working in sculpture.

2012 Award Recipients: Marie Bannerot McInerney (Washington University, St. Louis, MO), Dylan Botelho, (University of San Diego, San Diego, CA), Teresa Carlesimo (University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario), Adriana Corral (University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX), Reed Esslinger (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI), Ernesto Gomez (University of Georgia, Athens, GA), Timothy Humphrey (California State University, Long Beach, CA), Kyle Petreycik (Ringling College of Art and Design, Sarasota, FL), Jason Ramey (University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI), Emily Stergar (Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ), Christopher Torrez (Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ), and Amber Whiting (Portland State University, Portland, Oregon).
