TEEN ARTS COUNCIL

The Teen Arts Council is designed as a premier resource of art, craft and design for teens and students in the Bellevue area eager to develop a deeper connection with art. Teen programs are intended to inspire thoughtful and provoking conversations for teens ages 14 - 18, where they can explore a variety of mediums of art, develop their creative potential and ignite a long-lasting passion for the visual and performing arts.

The purpose of the Teen Arts Council is to design and create, with the aide of BAM staff, events and programming specific for teens and teen interests with links to the mission of the museum and the council. The Teen Arts Council allows teens to participate in designing, shaping and running teen programs at BAM, and generate interpretive, creative and educational programs of high interest to peers.
