Breakfast with BAM: Beyond the Norm - Varying Perspectives of Art, Craft and Design March 16: We will discuss the exhibit Beth Levine: First Lady of Shoes. As the first successful female shoe designer, she went “beyond the norm” in a field that was traditionally dominated by men. Come explore her creativity through her innovative design of shoes. April 16: We will discuss the exhibit Lisa Gralnick: The Gold Standard, in which the artist explores thought provoking ideals of value, currency, and economy as well as the relationship between personal value and sentimental value. May 17: We will discuss Eyes for Glass: The Price Collection and the variety of glasswork and how it provides an overview of the Northwest studio glass scene. |
